Fitness is now a big part of my life, but it has been a journey.

I have had a life long struggle with my weight. I remember being a very unhappy teenager, with absolutely no confidence in myself. I had such low self-esteem and played the victim and blamed everyone for my unhappiness. Through college, getting married, starting a family, grad school, my weight continued to increase. I have tried every imaginable quick fix, diet, powders, shots, and herbs. Losing weight consumed my every waking thought! Gaining control of my life had to be a decision and a change of mind and lifestyle.

I was an educator, and a school psychologist for over 20 years. Now I can devote full time to be a dedicated personal trainer to help others achieve their individual personal fitness goals, and feel good about themselves!
