MY BODY MY TEMPLE

My ultimate passion is to serve people in the best way I can. I have always lived a very active lifestyle. I played soccer in high school, started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when I was 14 years old and I can say that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gave me the foundation to become the person I am today. I was a blue belt state champion in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil which was a huge accomplishment to me. After finishing high school I set my passion to the side and focused on being busy working and trying to figure out who I was supposed to be.

I started training in Muay Thai in 2010, fell in love with it. My goal was to learn in order to feel secure and able to protect myself in case I needed to, never to fight. In 2012 I made the decision to join a CrossFit gym and got hooked right away (I was never into regular gyms, head phones on and using machines in order to get stronger). After training in CrossFit for about a year I was asked by my coach to teach some of his classes as I was capable to execute all with perfect and safe form. That’s how my teaching journey began. Besides CrossFit classes, I also started teaching a ladies Muay Thai class at the Muay Thai Institute. I love everything that involves cross training, but my biggest passion is the kettlebell.

Kettlebell work is complex and challenging, you need to be very aware of your body and mind in order to control the bells or the opposite will happen. I find the kettlebell to be the most powerful tool for strength, mobility, cardio, rehab, endurance, and whatever else you wish. That is why I got certified as a StrongFirst Kettlebell instructor Level 1 and am also certified as Original Strength Instructor which involves helping people move the way they were designed to, helping restore reflexive strength and stability.

I can offer my clients training for strength, weight loss, Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. Mixing all that I guarantee moving better, feeling better and living better.
